Donate to Long Distance

Hello! A lot of you have been have been asking about how you can support the show. Some have asked how I can make more episodes more frequently. I really appreciate these questions. And, to be honest, I’m still figuring things out. For now, donating, sponsoring, and sharing the show with friends and family are great ways to help. For donations, feel free to give whatever you want if and when you want. Just click on the button below and it will take you to the donate page:

Where your donation will go:

Donations will go to the production of upcoming episodes and seasons of Long Distance. Some production costs include podcast platform and website fees, transportation, batteries, and equipment. The show is a labor of love right now, but in the future, my goal is to compensate production staff for their time and efforts on the show (myself included!) and artists we work with for music and artwork for the show. And I’d love to make documentary videos someday too!

Producing these narrative, documentary-style podcast episodes take a lot of time and work. This includes researching, interviewing, editing, scriptwriting, recording, then re-editing and editing again, and again, and again. I do this all on my own with help from my co-producer Patrick Epino. Donations to cover the costs of production would be very much appreciated.

If you’re interested in becoming a sponsor:

I’ll have more information about sponsorships soon. If you’re interested in learning more, send an email to hello@longdistanceradio.com.

Other ways to help:

  • Share the show with friends and family in real life.

  • Share the show with friends and family on social media. (Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook are great — don’t forget to use the hashtag #LongDistanceRadio and tag the show page in your post.)
